Writing to the desk
One address reaches the people who write these pages. There is no form and no mailing list.
Write to [email protected]. It reaches the people who write the site. There is no contact form here, because a form means a third party script and this site loads none.
What is worth sending
Corrections come first. If a date, a name or a temperature on these pages is wrong, tell us which page and which sentence and we will fix the page rather than quietly delete it. After that, gaps: a question about forging or about a piece of local ironwork that you expected this journal to answer and could not find.
Three things we cannot do
We cannot put you in touch with the Capital District Blacksmiths' Association, and we are not a route to it: as the about page says, we are not that association and have no relationship with it. Look it up in the ABANA affiliate directory. We cannot appraise or identify your anvil from a photograph, which is a question that arrives constantly and that nobody can answer responsibly at a distance. And we cannot recommend a supplier, because we do not test what they sell.
What happens to your message
Mail is read and kept only as long as answering it requires. It goes on no list, because there is no list. The rest of what this site does and does not collect is on the privacy page.
